The Beginning to Something Great
FOOD, it can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Friend, drop the “n” and you get fried. Using the word friend if you drop the “r” you get fiend and that is what, sadly, most fried foods are. Doctors and dieticians say you should limit the amount of fried foods you eat. This means that you cannot eat some of the greatest tasting foods ever. Funnel cakes, French fries, onion rings, and fried Oreos are, just to name a few, some of the delicious evils that we should not consume a whole lot of. Some people do not like fried foods but I know of one fried food people do like and if they don’t like it fried then they can enjoy it either grilled or baked or cooked some other way. No one can hate this food. It’s like hating Super Man who everyone loves unless you’re Lex Luthor or some other villain. I guarantee you everyone has had this food at least once in their lives unless you are one of the few villains (a vegetarian or vegan). The food I am talking about is Buffalo wings, yes BUFFALO WINGS.

Researched Food Blogs Round 2
Out of the new blogs I reviewed one stood out like a diamond in a coal mine and that was Smitten Kitchen. It contained everything necessary in a good blog: simplicity and balance. The blog contained just the right amount of pictures, it had very few ads, was easy to follow, and on top of all that it had good writing. The other blogs I looked at: Curious Cook, The Ethicurean, Rasa Malaysia, and Movable Feast all had their various problems and did not even come close to touching Smitten Kitchen. One of my favorite parts of this awesome site was on the left side where it said Surprise Me! when you click on this a random food post pops up. I also enjoyed the simplicity of the site. The background was white so there were no distracting colors, on the left there are a few useful links and one lone ad that I did not even know it was an ad until I looked at it twice (there is also one more ad after the first post and that is it). The writing is the main part of this website and that is what it should be. It should not be a whole lot of useless links. It should not be unnecessary pictures. It definitely should not be ads. This site is what every other site should strive to be like and you should definitely check out this blog because it is the biggest diamond out there.

Researched Food Blogs
The best food blog I researched was Chez Pim. Some other ones that were good but not as good are Amateur Chef and Nordljus. Amateur Chef had very good writing and was easy to get around and Nordljus had good writing but I did not like the way it was set up. Another blog I looked up was the Rambling Spoon this blog was ok but the writing was a little short and not as good as the others. The worst blog I looked at was Snack the last post was posted over a year ago and the site was a little confusing. You are probably wondering by now why Chez Pim was the best food blog well I’ll tell you, the site was set up very nicely and it had the best content. I liked the colors and on the right side of the page there were different categories going down the page about recent posts and food blogs she likes. Then at the bottom you can search her posts by month and year. The content on Chez Pim was probably the best, she had videos of her cooking and her writing is also very good. If you are looking for a good food blog to read I suggest you definitely check out Chez Pim.
